Effective date: 2026-07-10. This Privacy Policy applies to the Home Note Keeper / NoteCraft Pages mobile application and related public website information operated by EL BARTO.
Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to the Home Note Keeper app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by EL BARTO. The app is a reading notes, quote archive, idea organization, book directory, topic tagging, favorites, sorting, and search utility.
Information Collection
Home Note Keeper does not collect, log, or store personal information when you download and use the app. Registration is not required. The app does not require accounts, login, registration, user dashboards, or authorization.
If the app or website is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted only to facilitate network connectivity. EL BARTO does not retain this data or use it for tracking.
Local App Data
If book titles, author names, short descriptions, cover colors, notes, quotes, ideas, conclusions, questions, other note entries, topic tags, book-note links, reflection prompt usage, favorite notes, Books / Notes / Favorites counters, sorting preferences, search queries, or app settings are saved by the app, they are intended to remain local to the user’s device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
Data Retention
EL BARTO does not retain personal data from normal app use because the app does not collect, log, or store personal information on EL BARTO servers. Any reading notes or preferences kept by the app remain on the user’s device and are retained only as long as the user keeps them in the app or on the device.
Data Deletion
Because EL BARTO does not collect or store personal app data, there is no server-side user profile or cloud archive to delete. Users can delete local app information by clearing app data through device settings or uninstalling the app. If a user voluntarily contacts EL BARTO by email or a website contact form, they may request deletion of that voluntarily provided message data by contacting support@elbarto.store.
Location Data
The application does not collect precise real-time location information from the mobile device.
Third-Party Sharing
Since the application does not collect personal information through normal use, no app data is shared with third parties. EL BARTO does not sell personal data.
Website Contact Form
The public website may allow visitors to provide contact form information such as name, email, company or project, and message. This information is used only to respond to the request and is not sold.
Children
The application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or a higher age where required by applicable law. EL BARTO does not knowingly solicit personal data from children or market to them.
Security
Because the application does not collect personal data, the risk of personal data exposure from normal app use is minimal. However, no security system is completely secure. EL BARTO uses reasonable safeguards for systems and any data voluntarily provided by users.
Not a Replacement for User Judgment
Home Note Keeper is not an ebook reader, book marketplace, publishing platform, academic citation manager, plagiarism tool, AI writing replacement, school curriculum software, legal document storage tool, cloud document manager, social reading network, or replacement for research judgment, copyright compliance, academic integrity, or personal critical thinking.
Changes
EL BARTO may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date.
